Please note that the Mayors of the Valle of Almanzora are meeting with the Andalucian Housing Minister Josefina Cruz in Almeria tomorrow (Thursday) to receive the results of the Inventory of Houses outside of planning and to hopefully discuss the planned 'decreto' or decree which according to press reports will permit the legalisation of houses on 'suelo no urbanizable unless they are on protected land or have legal proceedings against them.

Whilst we hope the the Junta de Andalucia is sincere in its intentions we in AUAN have had many false dawns and it is difficult to comment on this decree when the text has yet to be been published and will not be published, it appears, until AFTER the local elections.

The Mayors and the Ministry will meet to discuss the decree for ‘alegal’ houses.

Josefina Cruz will deliver the inventory of houses and is expected to discuss the planned decree.
