The Department of Foreign Residents has organised the talks in English, Dutch and German and it is planned to shed light on how various institutions and social systems work.

It is believed residents benefit because every country had its own legal system and rules and the talks helped integrate foreigners and answered common queries.

The series of lectures begins with ‘The Notary in Spain’ – all the talks are free and it is planned to stage them in the social Centre at La Nucia Nou Espai, but it is asked residents book a place by calling or emailing the town hall beforehand.

The explanation of the Spanish notarial system will be in Dutch on Wednesday 18th January; in English on 1st February; and in German on 15th February. All three begin at 10.30am.
